Lead Cybersecurity Engineer | Hybrid | $122,600 - $204,400We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Act as the enterprise's foremost expert and strategic owner of WAF and application-edge security.• Drive the architecture of WAF implementations and lead complex threat response efforts.• Advance automation, logging capabilities, and policy tuning for WAF.• Partner with cross-functional engineering, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure resilient protections.• Analyze WAF rules for improvements and present recommendations to stakeholders.• Participate in security events and incident response to identify and resolve threats.What You'll Need• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience, or equivalent.• At least 4 years focused on cybersecurity with a minimum of 2 years managing enterprise WAF.• Expert-level experience architecting, implementing, and operating enterprise WAF solutions.• Deep knowledge of network traffic routing (DNS, HTTP/S, CDN/edge).• Proven experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.• Proficiency in Python and Terraform is required.What's On Offer• Competitive base salary in the range of $122,600.00 - $204,400.00.• Flexible paid time off policy, allowing employees to take as much vacation as they deem appropriate.• Comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, wellness days, and various leave options.• Opportunity to shape the strategic vision for application-edge security within a prominent organization.Apply via Haystack today!
