Office Clerk
Position SummaryUnder general supervision, the Office Clerk supports warehouse operations by ensuring smooth and accurate order flow. This role coordinates order scanning, assignment, and tracking activities; supports Will Call processing; and provides administrative assistance to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer service.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:Scan and assign customer orders for warehouse pickingProcess and assign Will Call orders for timely customer pickupManifest truck deliveries, ensuring all documentation is complete and accuratePerform order lookups and provide order status information as neededProcess and assign cut and shearing ordersUtilize the order dashboard to assign work to handheld scanning devicesProvide strong phone and in-person customer serviceCommunicate proactively with internal teams regarding order issues, delays, or correctionsSupport smooth interaction between warehouse staff and customersAssist with clerical tasks related to order management, documentation, and data entryUse designated software programs to support warehouse and sales operationsPerform additional responsibilities as assigned to support department and organizational needsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
