Daily responsibilities include admissions, cross coverage, and pulmonary consultations with an average of 30 days per month coverage. The position requires proficiency in essential procedures including tracheal intubation, central lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, conscious sedation, and bronchoscopy.
