Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Joplin, MO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and an active MO or compact RN license.Job Details• Works in an OR Complex with 11 operating rooms,• Surgical patient population in an intraoperative setting,• 1:1 patient ratio,• Uses Stryker equipment,• EMR: Epic,• Day shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 3x12 schedule,• Weekends required as needed by the facility,• Call required as needed by the facility,• Floating required as needed by the facility,• Rotating holiday coverage required,Job Requirements• Active RN license - must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in Missouri or hold a current MO or compact RN license,• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required,• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required,• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted),• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months,• No expiring certifications within the first 30 days of assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled,Additional Information• Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability, evaluating care provided by other direct caregivers, coordinating care across departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality,• Ceil blue scrubs are provided by the facility,• Flu vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1; exemptions must be approved by the facility,• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment,• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate,• Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after that, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer outside the 50-mile radius is required,• The facility holds a Level 2 Trauma Center, Level 2 Stroke Center, and Level 2 STEMI Center designation,
