Quality Technician

An MRA Member is looking for...Quality TechnicianCincinnati, OHCompany Vision: To be an industry expert for supplying precision machined components and assemblies to OEM's in the U.S.A.Primary Job Duties: Complete designated inspections and record results in a timely mannerPrepare and process non-conforming material reportsOperate CMM equipment using PC-DMISSupport production personnel quality questions and initiativesParticipate in the calibration programVerify daily maintenance and 5S standardsCommunicate work statusFollow policies and procedures, Vision, Values, Principles, and Philosophies.Maintain acceptable attendance.Any specifically assigned task.Knowledge & Skill Requirements: Must be able to communicate and convey information to others.Must be able to use and select tools. gauges, and work aids to perform task.Must be able to prioritize work duties to reflect frequent changes, delays, and/or unexpected events during the work shift.Must be able to precisely verify operator and machine performance against production documentation and customer specifications.Must be able to make decisions using the principles of logic in a timely manner.Excellent Math skills up to and including Statistics.Ability to prepare basic communication and reports.Advanced blueprint reading.Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.Ability to use calibration tooling.Microsoft office software.Experience with machining or AS9100 is a plus.CMM programming knowledge is a plusOasis programming knowledge is a plusWorking knowledge of Discus is a plusPhysical Requirements: Lifting up to 50lbs, including bending, twisting, crouching, etc.Must be able to work with oils/coolantsMust be able to work in a noisy environmentMust be able to frequently stand or walk for long periods of timeWe Make it EasyFounded in 1901, MRA is a nonprofit employer association that serves more than 4,000 employers, covering more than one million employees.As one of the largest employer associations in the nation, MRA helps its member organizations thrive by offering the most comprehensive assortment of HR services, information, education, and resources to help build successful workplaces and a powerful workforce.We partner with these companies working directly with their HR department and leadership to hire their talent.
