Quality Inspector

Title: Quality Inspector Duration : Full Time- Direct hire Address & Zip Code: Dayton, OH Key Responsibilities Precision Inspection: Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections on complex aerospace components. The Toolbox: Utilize a wide range of precision instruments including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height stands, and CMM equipment. Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) with 100% accuracy. Documentation: Maintain detailed inspection reports and certifications to ensure full traceability, complying with AS9100 standards. Collaboration: Work closely with our CNC Machinists and Programmers to troubleshoot deviations and maintain our high "right the first time" rate. Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in Quality Inspection within a machine shop environment (Aerospace or Medical background highly preferred). Sharp Eye: An uncompromising eye for detail and a "safety-first" mindset. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical inspection techniques.
