Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of recent Labor Delivery / OB experience required License: Active license required Certifications: BLS (AHA), AWHONN, NRP required Must-Have: Fetal Monitoring Experience required Previous travel experience highly preferred STABLE certification highly preferred Description: Every birth is a unique and individual experience. Our doctors, nurses, and staff are here to help patients give birth in their own special way. Patients have access to a wide range of birthing options from natural childbirth to full epidural anesthesia and any combination in between, 24 hours a day. The individualized attention received through personalized nursing care will provide the comfort, caring, and medical expertise needed throughout labor. The unit is designed with a 1:1 ratio during active labor and a 1:2/3 ratio for Mother Baby care. A Labor Delivery skills checklist completed within the past year is required. A supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment is required. Active certifications for BLS, AWHONN, and NRP must be maintained and submitted. License verification is also required.
