A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Med Surg/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM/n• 0.9 FTE position with 36 guaranteed hours per week/n• Weekends and on-call/call back responsibilities as needed/n• Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles required/n• Must be a team player, flexible, and adaptable to fast-paced environment/n• At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required/n• Two years current experience in specialty required/n• EPIC experience preferred; training available on-site/n• Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients/n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses/n• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team/n• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols/n• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel/n• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing/n• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required/n• New Mexico or Compact State nursing license required/n• BLS certification required through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross/n• English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing required/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community, focusing on delivering safe, effective, patient-centered care.
