A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend requirement • Must be available to work every other holiday if needed • Patient ratios of 1:5 for telemetry or 1:7 for med surg • Floating required within skillset • 26-bed unit specializing in post PCI, pacemaker, AICD, post MI, and cardiac pharmacologic intervention patients • EPIC charting experience required • Active New York Single State RN license required (pending licenses not accepted) • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS • Minimum 1 year of experience required • Candidates within 75 miles of facility not accepted • Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white • Clinical skills required: IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, cardiac monitoring & emergency response, interpretation & management of dysrhythmias, rapid response/code team use, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac • Experience in MS/Tele settings required • Up to 5 billable hours for pre-start modules completion Facility: This 528-bed acute care teaching facility is Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center.
