Cable Technician

Job Description We are seeking a Lead Cable Technician to support largescale lowvoltage cabling projects, including a longterm new construction project in downtown Nashville. This role will primarily work on active construction job sites. The technician may work independently or lead a small team of helpers depending on project needs.This position is handson and focused on structured cabling installation. Candidates will receive daily direction from an onsite lead and have the opportunity to further develop skills within the lowvoltage industry.ResponsibilitiesInstall cable pathways including *tray systems, Jhooks, and supports*Pull and route *Cat6+ and fiber optic cabling*Terminate faceplates, jacks, and structured cabling componentsRead and follow basic prints and installation plansUse hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyLead or assist helpers as needed to complete project tasksMaintain clean, organized, and compliant job sitesRequired SkillsStructured cabling and cable installationCat6 cabling and cable pullingLowvoltage installation experienceFamiliarity with hand tools, drills, and construction equipmentAdditional QualificationsReliable transportationTimely, dependable, and selfmotivatedConstruction, electrical, or lowvoltage experience preferredExperience Level* Intermediate Level*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
