Large Loss Bodily Injury Adjuster

As a Large Loss Bodily Injury Adjuster, you will manage high-exposure and complex claims, including high-risk jurisdictions such as California, rejected tenders, and extra-contractual matters, with bodily injury limits up to $100,000 / $300,000. This role may also involve handling commercial and homeowner liability claims, resolving high-severity bodily injury losses. You will collaborate closely with multiple internal partners while taking a proactive, adaptable approach to meet the unique needs of each claim. Strong time management, organizational skills, and resourcefulness are essential to successfully navigate this fast-paced, high-complexity environment.We are seeking an experienced Large Loss Bodily Injury Adjuster with a strong foundation in handling high-severity bodily injury claims to resolution, particularly within high-risk jurisdictions. The ideal candidate is proactive in taking all necessary steps to protect the insured and demonstrates the ability to adapt their approach based on the unique needs of each claim.Experience with litigation, commercial liability, and homeowner liability claims is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform file reviews for various complex projects or for cases in litigation, analyze data, and report findings.May review cases to determine if CWP is appropriate given gross tort value exposure.Support the Field with discretionary referrals on complex coverage issues and engage Home Office Claim litigation for involvement and direction as needed.Review coverage, liability, and/or damages on highly complex cases referred for authorization and collaborate with Field leadership on additional steps to be taken and other feedback and direction.Collaborate with Frontline Performance Experts (FPEs), Frontline Performance Leaders (FPLS), and Claim Process Specialists (CPSs) to share experience and trends identified in referred cases.Work with Product, Protection, Law, and Claims on new products introduced to the Field and the sales force, and develop Claim Bulletins to provide new forms and/or endorsements that impact claim handling practices.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job does not have supervisory duties.SkillsAdaptabilityAnalytical ThinkingBad Faith LitigationBodily Injury ClaimsCommercial LiabilityCommunicationComplex ClaimsInjury AssessmentLarge Loss ClaimsNegotiationOrganizingPrioritizationProactive BehaviorRisk AssessmentsTime ManagementCompensationCompensation offered for this role is $85,000.00 - $145,075.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.BenefitsJoining our team isn't just a job — it's an opportunity.
