Position Summary:
Are you a Workday resource management expert looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Workday Resource Manager that will report to the Vice President of Workday Delivery, and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of resource allocation, utilization, and availability. In this role, you will be the primary contact for resource requests and will cultivate relationships with the Workday Practice’s Sales and Delivery teams, external Workday partners and consultants in our Independent Partner Programs to ensure timely delivery.
The ideal candidate will have similar experience working at a Workday partner and can leverage existing connections in the Workday ecosystem to enhance our network of available resources. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement resource management strategies and processes for ERPA’s Workday Practice.
Work closely with the Sales team, obtain resource requirements for new business opportunities, and ensure timely delivery of resources.
Manage the consultant bench and staffing related to our Independent Partner Program (IPP), while working closely with our Talent/Recruiting Leader surrounding IPP consultant sourcing
Monitor and request forecast updates on an ongoing basis from delivery resources.
Manage Jira ticket queue assignment and ticket aging
Manage resource allocation, utilization and availability - Collaborate internally with the Workday Delivery leadership team, Talent Acquisition Manager, and practice groups within ERPA, as well as externally with our IPP/IPP Plus Consultants and Workday partners.
Continuously identify available Workday Schedule A opportunities and allocate suitable resources in collaboration with Workday Practice Leadership
Evaluate project timelines, budgets and utilization to ensure the efficient allocation of resources.
Maintain a comprehensive overview of the status of available resources, both internally and externally, and leverage relationships to fill in the gaps on projects where needed.
Build relationships with Workday partners and expand our network of available resources.
Track, analyze, and optimize resource utilization
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve resource-related conflicts and balance priorities
Develop and implement tools and processes for enhanced efficiency
Stay informed on industry trends to improve organizational processes
Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, project management or a related field is preferred.
3+ years of experience working at a Workday Partner in a role with similar resource management responsibilities is required.
Active Workday certification(s) and/or a professional certification in resource management is a plus!
Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze resource-related costs and budgets.
Must demonstrate a strong understanding of resource planning, allocation and optimization principles and methodologies.
Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess resource demands and optimize resource allocation.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively establish new relationships with Workday partners, as well as maintain existing relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Requires strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to ever-changing priorities and deadlines.
Requires a strategic perspective, with the ability to think proactively and implement resource management strategies timely and efficiently.
