The facility features a 15-bed department and maintains primary stroke certification, providing advanced care capabilities while offering teaching opportunities with family medicine residents and medical students.Opportunity:Physician - Obstetrics and GynecologyJob Details:• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services• Must maintain active Michigan medical license• Round on assigned and unassigned patients (FM residency typically handles unassigned)• Manage low and high risk pregnancies with routine and complicated deliveries• Perform FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds (Level I preferred), and routine vaginal deliveries• Handle cesarean sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions• Provide VBAC services and repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations• Offer office/minor gynecology procedures and surgical gynecology services• Open and laparoscopic procedures including diagnostic and operative cases• Conscious sedation module completion available on-site if privileges requestedCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
