Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support a large-scale, enterprise network environment in a highly dynamic and mission-critical setting. This is a hands-on consulting role within a Network Operations Center supporting complex infrastructure and security initiatives.Location & Work SetupOnsite role based in the Southeast U.S.Must be willing to relocate within commuting distance prior to startNo remote work optionStandard work week with potential after-hours/weekend support for outages OverviewAct as a technical lead and escalation point for network operationsSupport a large, statewide network infrastructureWork in a fast-paced, multi-team environment with minimal supervisionContribute to network reliability, security, and performance optimizationKey ResponsibilitiesConfigure, install, maintain, and upgrade network infrastructureMonitor network performance and proactively resolve issuesTroubleshoot complex network and connectivity problemsSupport firewall, routing, switching, and VPN environmentsMaintain network documentation and diagramsImplement security best practices and ensure complianceProvide knowledge transfer and guidance to team membersSupport voice-integrated and multi-vendor network environments Required Qualifications10+ years of experience with Cisco firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, and administration5+ years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls2+ years of experience with Palo Alto XDRStrong experience in network configuration, troubleshooting, and supportPreferred SkillsExtensive experience with network monitoring and tracing toolsDeep understanding of core network architectureAdvanced expertise in routing and switchingExperience with wireless networks and hybrid cloud infrastructure Preferred CertificationsCCNA or CCNP
