Located in Middleboro, MA, we aim to cultivate a lifelong love for dance within each student.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site role for a Dance Teacher at Erica's Dance Academy, located in Middleboro, MA. The Dance Teacher will be responsible for teaching various dance styles to students of different age groups and skill levels. Key tasks include planning and delivering engaging dance lessons, choreographing performances, offering constructive feedback, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Collaboration with other instructors and participation in academy events and performances will also be required.QualificationsExpertise in Dance Instruction and Dance Education to effectively teach and inspire studentsStrong skills in choreography, performance techniques, and the ability to adapt lessons to accommodate varying skill levelsPassion for dance and music, with proficiency in integrating rhythm and musicality into teachingExperience in teaching or mentoring students in a classroom or studio settingStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all studentsPrior experience in a dance-related role or with competitive dance groups is a plusCertification or qualification in dance education or a related discipline is preferred
