The Dance Teacher will be responsible for planning and leading dance classes, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment for students of various ages and skill levels. Responsibilities also include choreographing routines, preparing students for performances, and collaborating with the academy’s team to uphold its mission of promoting artistic and personal growth. A passion for dance and teaching is essential for this role.QualificationsExpertise in Dance Instruction and Dance EducationProficiency in Teaching and mentoring studentsStrong background in Dance techniques and choreographyUnderstanding of Music as it relates to dance and choreographyEffective communication and leadership skillsPrevious experience teaching in a dance studio or equivalent settingAbility to inspire, motivate, and connect with studentsBachelor’s degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field is a plus
