QLM Search is partnering branded CPG Group that is looking to appoint a VP FP&A.This role is for a true FP&A specialist, someone with real depth in financial modelling, decision support and business intelligence, and experience building FP&A properly rather than inheriting something already set up.Key Responsibilities:Designing the FP&A function end to end — models, processes, tools and cadenceOwning forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning across multiple brands and categoriesBuilding robust financial models to support pricing, investment, margin and growth decisionsProviding high-quality decision support to the executive teamDeveloping business intelligence and performance reporting that gives real visibility across the portfolioPartnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership teamHiring and developing the FP&A team as the group continues to scaleThis is a hands-on role, particularly in the early stages, you’ll be close to the detail and shaping how things are done.Who this is forYou’re a genuine FP&A expert, not a generalist finance leaderYou’ve built or materially upgraded FP&A capability beforeYou’re comfortable operating in a branded, multi-category CPG environmentYou’re strong technically, but commercial, pragmatic and confident influencing senior stakeholdersYou enjoy creating structure, insight and clarity in complex businesses
