This position evaluates the competency of individuals to provide Home Health Aide services in the Help at Home, LLC's comp lab or in the clients' home, as allowed. Additionally, provider agrees to complete the HHA competency assessment to meet the requirements of the HHA licensure registry. This role would be contract, not a full time employee Help at Home.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide professional services described herein as an independent contractor.Evaluates the competency of individuals to provide home health aide servicesPerforms other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Physicians' orders-HHA Plan of CareDocumentation/Advance Directives/DNRReporting change in patient condition or skin condition/breakdownReporting change in body function/Pain Mgt.Communication skills/ability to read, write, and report clinical info to clients, family and other caregiversVital signs - temp, pulse and respirationsInfection control/Hazardous WasteRecognizing emergencies/Emergency PreparednessMaintenance of a clean, safe, and healthy environmentBasic elements of body functioning and reportable changesGrooming (hair, nail, and skin care)Education and Experience:One year experience of homecareMinimum of 2 years nursing experienceMust be a registered nurse.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
