Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sr Mechanic role based in the Lafayette, Louisiana Metropolitan Area. The Sr Mechanic will be responsible for conducting regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, addressing servicing needs, and ensuring all equipment remains in excellent operational condition. The role requires hands-on expertise, a commitment to safety, and attention to detail. Qualifications Proficiency in Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure equipment operates effectively and reliably.Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair, particularly in addressing mechanical issues that arise in heavy equipment.Expertise in Heavy Equipment handling, with the ability to identify, address, and resolve machinery issues efficiently.Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.Familiarity with relevant safety standards and compliance requirements for handling heavy machinery.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Skilled at working independently as well as collaborating within a team-based environment.Previous experience as a mechanic for heavy equipment services is highly preferred.
