Senior Construction Project Manager

Are you an experienced real estate and construction project manager who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments?Our client is looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join a premier residential construction and development firm operating at the highest end of the luxury market. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with full oversight of execution across multiple high-end residential projects. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to deliver exceptional quality, disciplined schedules, and a white-glove client experience. This role is onsite daily in Calabasas + travel to different site locations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee projects from early planning stages through construction completionPrepare, monitor, and update comprehensive project budgets throughout the lifecycle of each projectCoordinate subcontractor selection, negotiate agreements, and ensure scopes of work are clearly definedTrack and manage change orders, project allowances, and potential cost impactsDevelop and maintain detailed project timelines in collaboration with field teamsProactively identify potential project challenges and implement solutions to minimize riskEnsure key milestones, approvals, and long-lead materials are properly tracked to maintain schedule integrityServe as a primary point of coordination between clients, design teams, and project consultantsMaintain organized and accurate project documentation in accordance with internal proceduresMust-Have Qualifications:Minimum 5+ years of experience managing projects within the high-end residential construction sectorDemonstrated experience delivering custom luxury homes and major residential renovations in the Los Angeles marketStrong knowledge of construction agreements, scope development, procurement, and cost management practicesAbility to oversee several projects concurrently while maintaining strong attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort interacting directly with clients and stakeholdersExperience using construction project management platforms (Procore or similar systems preferred)Please submit your resume for consideration.You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting workgrades.com/home/candidate.
