Strong leadership, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in senior-level fundraising are essential. The role also involves maintaining strong external relationships, serving as the primary spokesperson for philanthropic matters, and engaging with the community to enhance the Hospital's profile. Applicants for the President position at the company's Foundation should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years' of experience in a senior fundraising role, with a preference for those with successful capital campaign experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in major gift programs, be adept at working with healthcare professionals, and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Personal attributes should include a commitment to the Hospital's mission, a goal-driven and motivated work style, and the ability to build and lead collaborative teams.
