Job Description Our organization is excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a full-time, Fellowship Trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgery physician to become a part of our dedicated team at a leading medical center. This position offers a chance to join a dynamic and expanding multispecialty group practice situated in Fresno, California.We are in search of a collaborative and seasoned Cardiothoracic Surgeon who is enthusiastic about both cardiac and general thoracic surgery. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in CABG, valve replacement/repair, and thoracic surgery, along with proficiency in minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS). A minimum of five years of cardiothoracic experience is essential.The work schedule primarily consists of weekdays, with call coverage approximately every 1 in 3 weeks, shared fairly among other qualified cardiothoracic surgeons in the practice.The main workplace will be at our medical center campus in Fresno, California, with expectations for outreach to surrounding communities to foster relationships.This physician-led multispecialty group is looking to recruit a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an integrated CT Surgery team and program.Our program is actively involved in the STS Registry and consistently benchmarks performance as part of a robust quality and outcomes improvement initiative. Notable achievements include a high early extubation rate, a low transfusion rate, and numerous regional and national awards in cardiac surgery.Prospective candidates must hold a valid Physician License in the State of California or be able to secure one before their start date.
