Key ResponsibilitiesPerform, inspect aircraft maintenance, repairs, and alterations in accordance with FAA regulations and Military Technical OrdersMonitor progress, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are metTroubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to team membersEnsure accurate completion of maintenance records, logbooks, and work ordersMaintain compliance with FAA, company, and safety policiesCoordinate with management, QA, and parts departments as neededPromote a safe, organized, and professional work environmentAssist in aircraft deliveries to ensure on-time departure and serves as the maintenance point of contact, communicating aircraft status, delays, and needs to the Leads and ManagementRequired QualificationsCurrent FAA Airframe & Power plant (A&P) Certification or ability to obtain within 4 months of onboardingMinimum 5 years’ experience in heavy aircraft maintenance, preferably with an airline and/or MRO companyStrong knowledge of FAA regulations (FARs), AD’s, Service Bulletins, and Maintenance ManualsAbility to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical dataExcellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and make sound maintenance decisionsMust be able to pass background check and drug screeningHigh School diplomaPreferred QualificationsExperience with C-130, King Air, Cessna 208, turboprop, jet, GA, Part 145.Inspection Authorization (IA) a plusExperience in a fast-paced or maintenance/modification environmentPhysical Requirements And Environmental ConditionsMay work in Aircraft maintenance hangar or outside.May be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions.May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft.May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft.Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.May be required to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, APU, etc.Benefits Include The FollowingHealthcare coverageRetirement planLife insurance, AD&D, and disability benefitsWellness programsPaid time off, including holidaysLearning and Development resourcesEmployee assistance resourcesPay and benefits are subject to change at any time and may be modified at the discretion of the company, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.#MAINT #VETSTravel RequiredYes. 25%
