We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‐paced, challenging, and stimulating environment. The candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and will be responsible for preparing individual and business tax returns, managing financial records, and providing financial advice to clients. This role reports directly to the Owner and will involve significant client interaction.Ideal candidate would have internship experience and/or an accounting degree. Very rare in‐office meetings or client meetings are scheduled in the Philadelphia suburbs.Why join us?100% remotePaid time offBenefitsWork/life balanceTrue mentorshipResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and timely individual and business tax returns.Assist clients with financial and tax planning.Manage financial records including invoices, receipts, and tax payments.Utilize QuickBooks to track and analyze financial data.Provide insightful information and expectations to senior staff to aid in long‐term and short‐term decision making.Review complex income, expense and balance sheet reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns.Communicate with clients regularly to understand their financial needs and provide tailored advice.QualificationsA bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a public accounting role.Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.Proven experience with individual and business tax preparation.Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred but not required.Join our team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely while making a significant impact on our clients' financial success.
