Position Summary$7,500 Sign-on Bonus for eligible candidatesA Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is a credentialed medical professional with academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures. The scope of practice includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience and completed ARDMS or ARRT (US) registration, which is the standard of practice in Ultrasound.Minimum RequirementsHigh school or equivalent (or higher)Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current ARDMS or ARRT (US) registration required (physics and one specialty exam AB, OB/GYN) 5 years of experience as US technologist (sonographer)Clinical LadderOther InformationPrimary Shift: DayWeekdays: 8:00am - 4:30pm and 9:30am - 6:00pm;Call rotations: 6:00pm - 7:00am Sunday - Thursday every 3rd weekHolidays: Call only; 11 hours; 7:00am - 6:00pm rotating On Call: YesWeekends: Rotating (Call only); 48 hours rotating every 3rd weekendIMPORTANT: This position is listed as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer III, but based on the minimum requirements that are met, the candidate of choice will be hired as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I, II, III or IV.
