Position Summary$7,500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidatesA Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer is a credentialed medical professional with academic and clinical experience to use imaging technology to help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients. They operate ultrasound equipment that provides moving 2-D or 3-D images of the heart and its chambers. The scope of practice includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education, clinical experience and completed ARDMS- RDCS and/or RVT or CCI- RCS registration, which is the standard of practice in Ultrasound.Minimum RequirementsHigh school or equivalent (or higher)Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current ARDMS (RDCS or RVT) or CCI (RSC) registration/certification 2 years of experience as Cardiac and/or Vascular SonographerClinical Ladder Other InformationPrimary Shift: Day5 days per week 8:00am - 4pmOn Call: NoWeekends: NoIMPORTANT: This position is listed as a Cardiac Sonographer II, but based on the minimum requirements that are met, the candidate of choice will be hired as a Cardiac Sonographer I, II, III or IV.
