We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals / Care Providers in the Los Angeles area.Role DescriptionThis full-time Direct Support Professional role is an on-site position at Marvellas Oasis RCF, located in Los Angeles, CA. The responsibilities include providing daily, hands-on support to residents, assisting with basic care needs, fostering independence, and implementing individualized care plans. The role also involves facilitating social and recreational activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment, and promoting meaningful engagement with the community.QualificationsUnderstanding and experience in Human Services and supporting individuals with Intellectual DisabilitiesStrong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities to build trust and foster relationshipsExperience or willingness to undergo Training for specialized care and supportStrong problem-solving skills, patience, and empathyAbility to work collaboratively within a team and independently in a dynamic work environmentApplicants must meet HCBS and DDS requirements, including:Valid Driver’s License or State IdentificationCPR/AED and First Aid CertificationCrisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certificationDirect Support Professional (DSP) Y1/Y2 certificationAbility to pass a background check and fingerprint clearanceReliable transportation
