They must be able to perform high-quality welds on carbon steel, low alloy, and stainless steel. Other duties may be assigned.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Operate welding equipment including plasma and air arc cutting machinesLay out and fabricate piping systemsMaintain a safe and efficient work environmentCollaborate with team members to meet project goalsWeld pipe fixed at a 45-degree angle working in all positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.Other duties as assigned.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Qualifications:Experience- 5 years of Journeyman level experienceWelders Must pass mechanical testing as part of the qualification processMust pass TIG 6G weld testAbility to handle complex, multi-position welds.Ability to work in a physically demanding fast paced work environment.Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights over 100 feetRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentMust Pass Tig 6G Weld TestValid Driver's LicenseMust pass background, comprehensive physical, including a drug screen and safety trainingMeet physical demands as listed aboveAbility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed by the assigned locationAbility to operate power tools and heavy equipmentApplicants must be legally able to work for ANY employer in the United States.
