Hospitalist position in South Central Maine 7 on/7off with no procedures Hospital employed position in a 25 bed critical access hospital with a medical staff of over 40 physicians 7 on/7off schedule doing 12 hour shifts. Alternating weeks of days and nights. 1 week of paid time off. Base salary around $250,000 No procedures are required. Group does do basic vent management. Internal Medicine or Family medicine training required. Must be BE/BC. Joining 4 hospitalists in the group. Open ICU with 4 beds. J-1 visa sponsorship available through the HHS J-1 waiver program (Department of Health and Human Services) which is open all year with no state caps. City is located along the Kennebec River nestled in the rolling hills of Southern Maine. Close to Sugarloaf mountain which is one of the best ski areas in the USA. 1 hour to the spectacular Maine coast Area schools are very highly rated Area recreational activities include white water rafting, hiking, biking, snow shoeing and trout fishing. Surrounding communities provide arts, theatre, gyms, childrens programs, prestigious liberal arts college and unique restaurants. 1 hour to Bangor, 90 minutes to Portland, ME, 3.5 hours to Boston and 3 hours to Quebec, Canada. Hospital provides care to over 30,000 residents in central Maine.
