Scrubix Solutions, LLC is a start-up company providing top-tier cleaning services specifically tailored for short-term rentals, move in/move out cleans, and residential cleans. As we embark on this exciting journey, we're looking for a dynamic General Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing company, offering the chance to influence our direction and success from the ground up!!
We currently have a 60-home contract, and we have assumed all cleaning duties over the past few months. Now we are embarking on growing outside of short term rental cleans.

The Housekeeping General Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations. You will oversee the day-to-day activities of our housekeeping and inspection department, focusing on maintaining impeccable standards for client's properties. Your role will encompass scheduling, managing sales inquiries, recruitment, training, and ensuring our service quality sets us apart in the competitive short-term rental market. Prior experience in hospitality or hotel management is highly valued, given its relevance to our service model.

Compensation:
$47,500 yearly - Use of company car - Performance based bonuses
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Direct the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring all short-term rental properties are maintained to the highest standard
Strategic Scheduling: Efficiently manage staff schedules to meet the fluctuating demands of short-term rental cleaning, optimizing team productivity and service availability
Business Development: Engage in sales activities, handling inquiries and bookings, and fostering relationships with rental owners and property managers
Talent Management: Spearhead the hiring process, from identifying talent needs to interviewing and selecting candidates, focusing on individuals with a passion for hospitality and an eye for detail
Process and Procedure Management: Processes to be developed and implemented then trained to the team.
Training: Deliver training programs tailored to short-term rental cleaning, emphasizing quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Utilizing our cleaning and inspection checklists
Quality Assurance: Regularly inspect properties to ensure cleaning standards exceed expectations, implementing improvements as needed
Inventory Control: Oversee the procurement and management of cleaning supplies, home linen inventory, and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, conducting training sessions on safe cleaning practices and chemical handling
Perform duties of a housekeeper on an as-needed basis
Qualifications:
Experience in housekeeping management, with a preference for backgrounds in the hospitality or hotel industries
Well-versed in environmental services (EVS) including sanitation protocol and procedures, and how to use cleaning supplies and equipment
Entrepreneurial spirit and excitement about contributing to a startup environment – changes happen often and quickly
Strong leadership capabilities and a talent for nurturing team growth
Customer Service Skills as you will be the face of the Company
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the short-term rental market and its specific cleaning needs
Proactive problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
