This role requires someone who can lead business discussions, facilitate workshops, gather and document requirements, and bridge the gap between business and technology teams.The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and presentation skills, experience working in finance-focused environments, and exposure to the utility’s domain is a plus. This role requires a proactive professional who can drive conversations, influence stakeholders, and contribute to solution discovery and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with business stakeholders, customers, and project teams to understand business needs and objectivesLead customer-facing workshops, discovery sessions, and business discussionsAnalyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions aligned with business goalsGather, document, and manage business and functional requirementsCreate and maintain business and technical documentation, including:Business requirements documents (BRDs)Functional specificationsProcess flowsScope and requirements artifactsFacilitate communication between business users and technical teamsDrive requirements clarification, prioritization, and stakeholder alignmentPresent recommendations, findings, and project updates to leadership and customer stakeholdersSupport project delivery by ensuring requirements traceability and alignment with business objectives Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in customer-facing environmentsMin 10 years exp and finance and accounting area and Finance domain projects or financial business processesStrong consulting mindset with structured problem-solving and framework-thinking abilitiesProven experience leading business conversations and stakeholder engagementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong presentation and facilitation skillsExperience conducting finance focused discussions and workshopsAbility to create detailed business and technical documentationExperience managing requirements, scope, and business process artifactsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships with stakeholdersFamiliarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similarPreferred QualificationsExposure to Utilities industry/domainExperience working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments Desired SkillsCustomer engagement and relationship managementBusiness process analysis and improvementRequirements elicitation and managementWorkshop facilitationStakeholder managementAnalytical and strategic thinkingDocumentation and presentation expertise
