If you have great communication skills and an eye for detail, apply today!Responsibilities:Make strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations and financial advice to help clients reach their monetary goalsServe as a collaborative team player willing to further development through continued training opportunitiesWork directly with clients to compile financial profiles that allow you to provide sound financial advice based on each person's individual financial status, income, financial goals, and other factors contributing to wealth managementCreate customized financial plans for each client based on his or her life stage, professional circumstances, and fluctuating financial needsSeek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisorAbility to understand the needs and financial concerns of clientsAbility to educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially, so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events/ circumstances they may encounterPromote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goalsCultivating relationships with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial securityAbility to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clientsProviding compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances ariseHaving a clear focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of client relationships over timeQualifications:Though not required, a valid FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 license is considered a plusSuperior communication, relationship building, and math skills to establish a strong foundation of customer service for all clientsA Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or alternate related analytical field is requiredBasic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office, financial planning software, Google Suite, CRM systems, and related programs is neededBaseline knowledge about financial industry concepts, financial products, and the role of a financial advisor is desiredOnly applicants who live in or around Palm Beach Gardens, FL, will be considered for this positionSales experience preferred, but not requiredGo-getter mindsetDesire to help families and businesses address their financial needsStrong business acumenProfessional business demeanorPerseverance in the face of a challengeAbility to engage your community and leverage personal networks/contactsAbout Company:New York Life is a Fortune 100 company with a long history of doing good.
