Job Title: Finance Inventory Control SpecialistLocation: Jessup, MD (Onsite) Duration: 6-Month Contract Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:30 AM 3:00 PM (Full-Time, Day Shift) Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Inventory Control Specialist with hands-on warehouse experience to support inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. This role involves cycle counting, reconciliation, and quality control across multiple warehouse environments, including dry, cooler, and freezer conditions. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform cycle counts and maintain accurate physical inventory records Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate variances Conduct quality checks on date-sensitive and slow-moving inventory Ensure FIFO processes are followed for proper stock rotation Verify pallet counts and reserve inventory accuracy Support put-away, transfers, and overall warehouse inventory processes Initiate and document product transfers between storage environments Analyze inventory reports and identify causes of shrinkage Coordinate will-call orders and support warehouse operations Work across dry, cooler, and freezer environments as needed Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent Experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry Strong communication and organizational skills Basic math skills and attention to detail Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including freezer conditions Preferred Qualifications2+ years of inventory control experience Experience with warehouse management systems Work EnvironmentDry (10%), Cooler (10%), Freezer (80%) conditions Physically active role requiring standing, walking, and lifting
