Finance Inventory Control Specialist Location: Jessup, MD (Onsite) Duration: 6 month Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Full-time, Day Shift)Job Summary: We are seeking a Finance Inventory Control Specialist with hands-on warehouse inventory experience. This role supports inventory accuracy, quality control, and operational efficiency across multiple warehouse environments, including dry, cooler, and freezer conditions.Responsibilities:Maintain accurate physical inventory through cycle counting and reconciliationConduct full warehouse cycle counts and resolve discrepanciesPerform quality checks on date-sensitive and slow-moving inventoryInvestigate inventory variances, damages, and warehouse movement issuesMonitor FIFO processes to ensure proper stock rotationVerify reserve inventory and pallet countsEnsure accurate execution of put-away and transfer processesInitiate and document product transfers between storage environmentsAnalyze inventory reports and research shrinkage causesCoordinate will-call orders and support scheduled operations, including occasional SaturdaysRequired Skills:High school diploma or equivalentExperience with inventory control processesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entryStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)Problem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to read, write, and speak English fluentlyPreferred Skills:2+ years of inventory control experienceTools/Environment:Microsoft Excel and warehouse inventory systemsWork across Dry (10%), Cooler (10%), and Freezer (80%) environments
