Digital Designer & Web Builder (HubSpot & CMS)
Idea Grove is looking for a designer who can both design and build modern marketing websites and assets—someone who can translate brand strategy into real, working experiences across web and campaigns.This is a hands-on, high-output role. You’ll design full websites and landing pages, but you’ll also create the steady flow of assets that drive performance—ads, emails, and collateral.If you like variety, move quickly, and take pride in seeing your work go live and perform, this role is a strong fit.What You’ll DoDesign and build B2B marketing websites using HubSpot CMS, WordPress, and WebflowTranslate positioning and messaging into clean, effective visual systems and layoutsCreate landing pages and conversion-focused web experiencesCustomize templates, modules, and components within CMS platformsBuild and manage marketing assets across channels, including:Google Ads and paid social creativeEmails and campaign assetsSales and marketing collateralWork directly inside HubSpot Marketing Hub, CRM, and Sales HubConfigure forms, workflows, lead routing, and lifecycle stagesEnsure websites and marketing systems work together seamlesslySupport SEO and performance best practices (site structure, page speed, on-page elements)Maintain and improve existing client websites and HubSpot instancesCollaborate with SEO, PR, and content teams to bring campaigns to lifeWhat We’re Looking For4–7 years of experience in web design and CMS-based site building (agency experience preferred)Strong portfolio showing both design thinking and live website executionHands-on experience with HubSpot CMS, Marketing Hub, and CRMExperience building sites in WordPress and/or WebflowStrong understanding of UX/UI, content hierarchy, and conversion-focused designComfortable working within templates and systems—not just designing from scratchComfortable working on a mix of high-impact projects and smaller, fast-turn deliverablesStrong attention to detail and QA mindsetAbility to manage multiple projects and move quicklyClear communicator who can explain decisions and tradeoffsBonusLight front-end skills (HTML, CSS, basic JS)Experience with HubSpot reporting, attribution, or lifecycle managementFamiliarity with SEO fundamentalsExperience with AI-assisted design or content workflowsMotion or interactive design experienceWhat This Role Is (and Isn’t)This is not a pure brand or concept roleYou will work on both full website builds and day-to-day marketing assetsYou’ll regularly create things like Google Ads, emails, and collateralSuccess in this role comes from execution, iteration, and follow-throughCompensation$70,000 – $90,000 base salary Most candidates we hire into this role fall in the middle of the range based on experience and fit.About Idea GroveIdea Grove is a B2B marketing and PR agency that helps innovative companies build visibility, authority, and trust through integrated PR, SEO, and digital marketing programs.
