Senior UI UX Designer

OVERVIEWThe Senior UI UX Designer is a problem-solver with a can-do attitude and excitement for new challenges. Additionally, you should be driven in building their design skills and workflow, and passionate about the future of web design. We’re looking for someone who stays up-to-date on the trends of web design and development, and can recognize good design.As an interactive designer you will work with our development team on a variety of different web design and development projects. Because our agency deals with a wide variety of projects, our team members must be multifaceted and adaptable to numerous project requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients Testing and improving the design of the websiteEstablishing design guidelines, standards, and best practicesMaintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standardsDesigning visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clientsWorking with different content management systems (WordPress, Shopify)Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframesIncorporating functionalities and features into websitesDesigning sample pages including colors and fonts Preparing design plans and presenting the website structureWorks well with project management to prioritize workflow and stays on timelinesLeads web workshops to gather information and educate the client on the processQualificationsAdherence to our culture and core values: Serve Joyfully, Create Fun, Deliver Excellence, Build Connections, and Own Growth4+ years’ experience as a designer working in an interactive agency settingExperience using platforms like Figma and SketchGood understanding of WordPressProficient in all aspects of the interactive process: sketches/wireframes, concept layouts, web mockups, etc.Knowledgeable of all aspects of responsive web design and able to implement standard practicesExcellent visual design skills.Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.Working knowledge of front-end web languages (HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript)Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a teamMeets deadlines with efficiency and attention to detailAdaptable and willing to learn new techniques.Excellent communication skillsThe ability to communicate and present work and concepts directly to clientsAt Infinite, we believe in developing great people, which develops great work.
