Serves as contact person for parents, teachers and principals regarding students. Maintain the health room and keep accurate up-to-date emergency information. Maintain and implement attendance/absence reports and records for the state auditors.Qualifications:High school graduateExcellent organizational and customer service skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsPrevious secretarial or administrative experience preferredKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of Google Suite productsKnowledge of PowerSchool productsEssential Job Functions: Utilize technology to efficiently perform dutiesWork independently with little to no supervisionMulti-task on various projectsAssist students, staff and families as needed in a positive mannerGreet parents and students as neededAssist with general office functions including but not limited to: announcements, telephones, newsletters, calendars, etc.Assist with maintenance of inventories, reports, logs, etc.Assist with administration of medication and maintenance of accurate logsEfficient and effective oral and written communication skillsConsistent and reliable attendancePerform other duties as assignedWork Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors.Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, jump, crouch, or crawl, talk, hear (in a quiet or noisy environment).
