Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Simi Valley, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,109 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 11 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the PositionTravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Simi Valley, California, 93065!Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 11 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 Experience: Minimum two years' high acuity ICU experience preferred License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required Must-Have: NIH Stroke & Dysrhythmia required. Floating required to Tele/MedSurg as needed. Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation. Collaborates with a team of patients, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment teams. Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. This unit provides intensive, comprehensive care and monitoring for medical, surgical, and cardiac patients having experienced shock, trauma, or other life-threatening conditions.
