Whether you're an installation technician, service technician, engineer, or project manager, you'll discover rewarding opportunities to grow your career as part of a valued team.Apply today and be phenomenal-build a meaningful career while protecting what matters most through innovative security technology.Job DescriptionAllied Universal Technology Services is hiring a Security Installation Technician II to perform installations of electronic security systems, work independently and along with other technicians, to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all installations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Install, program and configure electronic security systems for commercial clients, including, door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, and other security systemsTroubleshoot, evaluate, diagnose, integrate new and existing installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and meets industry standardsRun electrical wiring, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runsResponsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment and security software installationQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):High school diploma or equivalentMust possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a company issued vehicleMinimum of two (2) years of experience in physical security, fire alarm, low voltage communication systems, including installing devices, troubleshooting, programming and running medium to large projectsMilitary veterans are encouraged to apply, especially those with experience as an electronics technician or aviation technicianAbility to obtain and maintain required state-specific licenses; willingness to work on-call, respond to emergency service requests, and travel overnight as neededAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to efficiently navigate multiple systems, with strong interpersonal and communication skills for clear documentation and reportingHighly skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems, proficient with hand and power tools, and able to work independently or collaboratively to complete tasks and meet deadlinesPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and work at various ladder heightsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):Experience in the electronic security industryExperience with any of the following: Software House, CCURE, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacqvision, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSIBENEFITS:Medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, basic life, AD&D, and disability insuranceEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal daysVacation time is offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
