We're a team of motivated self-starters and team players passionate about transforming beauty retail through technology.Role Summary: As a Senior Project Manager - Technical Operations, you'll lead complex technical projects within Technical Operations and Shared Services, driving initiatives that enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of Sephora's applications. Your expertise in agile methodologies will be crucial in supporting our technical operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead multiple technical project implementations (50% of time)Manage project risks, cross-dependencies, and budgetsDocument and track meeting notes and action itemsAnalyze project data to optimize future initiativesDrive Agile Practices (30% of time)Run daily standups and retrospectivesLead backlog grooming and sprint planningFacilitate PI planning sessionsImprove and implement agile methodologiesEnsure Project Success (20% of time)Deliver projects on time and within budgetCoordinate cross-functional team effortsMonitor and report on project progressRequired Qualifications5+ years of project management experience in technical operations, infrastructure, and cloud initiatives5+ years of experience with SCRUM, AGILE, and WATERFALL frameworks5+ years working with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Innotas, Planview)5+ years of cross-functional team collaboration experienceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience)Strong communication, negotiation, and facilitation skillsProven track record of stakeholder management across organizational levelsTechnical CompetenciesExpertise in project planning and scope managementProficiency in risk and budget managementStrong resource planning capabilitiesExperience with milestone schedulingSkilled in cross-functional dependency managementWorking ConditionsHybrid work model (1 day per week in office required)San Francisco-based positionRegular interaction with cross-functional teamsFast-paced, dynamic technology environmentClear and effective communication required across all levels of organizationThis role reports to the Program Manager, Technical Operations / CyberSecurity / Infrastructure and offers an opportunity to shape the future of beauty retail technology while working with a collaborative, innovative team. #HybridThe annual base salary range for this position is $114,930.00 - $141,900.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
