Electric Motor Field Service Technician

Bemana is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Mechanical Technician to join our industrial service team. In this critical field role, you will be responsible for the expert installation, precision alignment, and mechanical diagnosis of a wide variety of rotating equipment at customer sites. We're looking for a motivated, hands-on professional with a strong mechanical aptitude, proven industrial safety experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, proactive solutions to our customers.Position Offers:Up to $45/hr depending on experience + overtime opportunities. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply-we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditionsExcellent, comprehensive benefits + Paid Time Off (PTO)Work vehicle, cell phone, and tablet/laptop providedCompany-sponsored training and certifications (Vibration Analysis, Laser Alignment, etc.)Job Duties:Removal and Reinstallation of shop-serviced equipment, including electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes.Utilizing basic rigging skills to safely move and position equipment on and off foundations and transportation means.Performing precision alignment of rotating equipment using dial indicators and laser alignment equipment.Conducting mechanical diagnostics on operational equipment, utilizing vibration analysis along with physical inspection and visual examination.Performing in-place repairs and field maintenance on existing equipment within customer facilities.Interfacing directly with customers/end users to assist in determining the cause of mechanical failures and to help develop proactive solutions to prevent future issues.Completing required written reports and documentation for all work performed on customer sites.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of working experience in mechanical environments.Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to industrial safety environments and practices.Knowledge of rigging practices is required.Training and experience in vibration analysis, laser alignment, and the repair of electric motors, pumps, and generators is highly desired.High mechanical aptitude is required.Basic computer skills and the ability to complete written reports.Must be a good communicator, possess a positive team player attitude, and show overall motivation to succeed.Ability to meet physical requirements for the position, ability to lift something up to 50lbsApplication ProcessIf your experience matches the description above, submit your resume, and one of our recruiters will be in touch to tell you more about the position and learn more about your experience and aspirations.If your experience does not match this job description, we still encourage you to reach out to one of our recruiters, so we can learn about your professional aspirations for future job openings.About BemanaBemana provides recruiting services to the nation's equipment and industrial sectors.
