This role supports day-to-day system transactions, data accuracy, reporting, and user inquiries, and works closely with the Senior Manager on audits, system enhancements, and process improvements. This is a hands-on HRIS role for a systems-focused individual with strong technical aptitude who excels in a data-driven environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the daily administration of HRIS platforms, including onboarding, employee data changes, and organizational maintenanceSupport time and attendance processes for both legacy systems and the organization's new time-tracking platformAssist in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of employee data across all HR systemsSupport system configurations, workflow routing, and user security access as neededDevelop proficiency in company HRIS platforms to troubleshoot and respond to system inquiries from HR, managers, and employees across the LeagueDevelop proficiency with HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, promotions, terminations) and how they impact company data systems overall QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge Areas/ExperienceRequiredHands-on experience supporting HR systems, including employee data management, onboarding, and organizational changesStrong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and navigate HRIS platforms including time and attendance systemsProficiency with Microsoft 365 for data review, validation, and reportingHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy when handling confidential employee dataStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred1-3 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS administration, or a related support roleExperience maintaining data accuracy and performing routine audits across multiple HR systemsExperience with HR and service platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce HCM, ServiceNow, or similar systemsPrior experience supporting time and attendance management systems a plusExperience supporting system upgrades, enhancements, or League-wide technology initiatives Education/CertificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field Required SkillsSystemsfocused and datadriven mindsetStrong analytical and problemsolving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative approach with the ability to partner effectively with HR, Payroll, and IT teamsHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and discretionPositive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks as needed CORE COMPETENCIESThese core competencies reflect the underlying values that are necessary to represent the National Hockey League:AccountabilityAdaptabilityCommunicationCritical ThinkingInclusionProfessionalismTeamwork & CollaborationThe NHL offers U.S. regular, full-time employees:Time to Recharge: Utilize our generous Paid Time Off (PTO) to focus on your well-being and ensure a healthy work/life balance.
