This individual will help create a welcoming and Spirit-led atmosphere through music, prayer, and encouragement, helping the congregation engage in meaningful worship.The ideal candidate is confident leading a congregation, works well with musicians and volunteers, and can step into a service environment with flexibility and professionalism.ResponsibilitiesLead worship during the Sunday night service at 6:30 PMCoordinate with church leadership and musicians prior to serviceSelect and lead songs that align with the heart and direction of the serviceHelp create an engaging and worshipful atmosphere for the congregationLead rehearsals or run-throughs as needed before serviceCommunicate clearly with musicians, vocalists, and production team membersAdapt quickly to schedule or service flow changes if neededArrive prepared, organized, and spiritually ready to leadQualificationsPrevious experience leading worship in a church settingStrong vocal and stage leadership abilitiesAbility to lead confidently with or without a full bandFamiliarity with contemporary worship musicStrong communication and teamwork skillsHeart for ministry and creating meaningful worship experiencesReliable, flexible, and able to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteersScheduleTemporary position for this Sunday evening with optional opportunity to join the team for weekly Sunday night serviceService begins at 6:30 PMRehearsal/check-in time will be communicated prior to serviceWork Location: In person
