Our compassionate and skilled team creates a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the highest quality of life for our residents.Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in our memory care unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in memory care and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to residents with cognitive impairments.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the memory care unitDevelop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residentsEnsure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to nursing and memory careProvide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and compassionConduct regular assessments of residents' health and well-being, making necessary adjustments to care plansCollaborate with other departments to ensure holistic care for residentsManage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all timesDevelop and implement training programs for nursing staff on memory care best practicesMonitor and manage the budget for the nursing departmentFoster a supportive and inclusive environment for residents, families, and staffQualifications:Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state licenseBachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferredMinimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in memory careProven leadership and management skillsStrong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to memory careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsCompassionate and patient-centered approach to careBenefits:Competitive salaryComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement savings planPaid time off and holidaysContinuing education opportunitiesSupportive work environmentFor more information please contact jessica.rehder@gogpac.com or 605-705-4855
