GPS / GNSS Test Engineer

Job Description:Validate GNSS and cellular positioning performance on mobile devices across all major carriers.Support Field To Lab GNSS/GPS performance testing based on CTIA & 3GPP standards.Record GPS/GNSS signals in the field and lab and help create test cases using recorded GPS/GNSS signals.Execute and analyze CTIA GNSS OTA and E911 certification test cases to ensure compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements.Perform GNSS performance tests focusing on Lab KPIs such as positioning statistics and sensitivity.Use ADB scripting for Android platforms to automate device control and contribute to regression test environments.Utilize industry-standard test platforms including Spirent 8100 test system and Rohde & Schwarz CMX.Identify root causes of failures, report issues to engineering teams, and modem and GNSS software teams by creating bugs & keep track of them for resolution.Familiar with utilizing AI agents to create test reports by processing large data sets.Maintain lab test equipment (anechoic chambers, callboxes, VNA and etc.) to their best operational status by performing regular inspection, calibration, SW/HW updates, license management, vendor engagement and cleaning.The expected salary range for this position is between $80K - $110K annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.Paid Leave, Health Insurance, Group life Insurance, Disability, 401(K)
