This role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of sourcing, supplier management, material planning, and supply chain coordination to ensure timely material availability across multiple concurrent projects.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in procurement lifecycle management, supplier coordination, material planning, and working within complex BOM-driven manufacturing or engineering environments.Key Responsibilities:Manage the complete procurement lifecycle from RFQ creation through purchase order placement and final deliveryExecute and manage purchase orders while ensuring alignment with project timelines and schedulesConduct supplier negotiations to achieve cost-effective sourcing while meeting technical and delivery requirementsPerform order tracking, expediting, and proactive supplier follow-ups to prevent delaysMonitor material availability against build schedules to ensure uninterrupted R&D and engineering operationsIdentify supply chain risks including long lead times, shortages, and single-source dependencies, and implement mitigation plansServe as the primary point of contact for supplier communications, issue resolution, and escalationsManage supplier quality issues including non-conformance handling and corrective action follow-upsMaintain accurate procurement documentation, reporting dashboards, and material tracking systemsCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain stakeholdersProvide regular updates on delivery schedules, material risks, shortages, and supply statusRequired Qualifications:Experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or materials coordinationStrong experience managing end-to-end procurement lifecycle activitiesExperience working in complex BOM-driven environments such as engineering, manufacturing, healthcare, or industrial systemsProven experience managing supplier relationships and multi-vendor ecosystemsKnowledge of supplier quality processes, audits, and non-conformance handlingExperience in material planning, demand-supply coordination, and schedulingStrong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting MRI systems, superconducting magnets, cryogenics, or highly technical manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalentPrior experience supporting R&D or customer-embedded engineering programsPreferred Skills:Procurement & Strategic SourcingSupply Chain CoordinationSupplier Relationship ManagementMaterial Planning & SchedulingPurchase Order ManagementRisk Mitigation & ExpeditingVendor Quality CoordinationERP Systems (SAP/Oracle)Cross-functional Collaboration
