Job Description CNC Machinist – East Houston, TXNew Tech Global is hiring a CNC Machinist for a manufacturing client in East Houston.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines from start to finishPerform premium threading on a wide range of products and material types, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specificationsRead and work from blueprints, verifying dimensions and tolerancesConduct dimensional inspections and maintain product traceabilityAdjust machine settings (speed, feed, tooling) as neededTroubleshoot and resolve minor machining issues independentlySupport process improvement initiatives with operations managementAssist lead/supervisor and help train other machinistsStep into lead responsibilities when requiredComplete required documentation and report non-conformancesQualificationsMinimum 2 years CNC machining experienceAt least 3 years experience with FANUC controlsStrong blueprint reading and machining knowledgeExperience selecting tooling and completing setups independentlyStrong hands-on experience with premium threading and inspection of threaded connectionsAbility to use inspection and measurement tools accuratelyCapable of handling multiple setups and machining operationsStrong problem-solving skills with minimal supervisionShifts:Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PMNight Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
