Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Special Education Teacher with a demonstrated background in SPED services. This full-time contract role supports high school learners (10th and 12th grade) in an inclusive and collaborative environment. You will work closely with a caseload of 23 students, primarily providing push-in services for English classrooms and instruction for two small group English classes. The assignment runs from August 2026 to June 2027, aligning with the academic year and offers the chance to make a significant impact in students' lives.Qualifications:Prior experience in special education (SPED) settings requiredActive IN SPED certification is essentialStrong communication and collaboration skillsFlexibility in adapting instruction to varied learning needsAbility to establish positive rapport with students and staffKey Responsibilities:Deliver direct instructional support within general English classrooms (push-in model)Teach small group English classes, differentiating lessons to meet individual IEP goalsMonitor, track, and document student progressCollaborate closely with general education teachers, counselors, and parentsParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of student plansMaintain a safe, encouraging, and engaging learning environment for all studentsFor this role, a commitment of 37.5 hours per week over 5 days offers both consistency and meaningful interaction with your students.
