Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. This contract position offers an engaging opportunity to work with 10th and 12th graders, providing both push-in support within English classrooms and dedicated instruction in two small group English settings. You'll manage a caseload of 23 students, collaborating with general education teachers and related service providers to foster student growth and empower success as they work toward graduation.Key Qualifications:Prior experience supporting students with special needs in a school settingCurrent and active Indiana Special Education Teacher certificationStrong ability to adapt and develop individualized instruction and accommodationsTeam-oriented mindset and a compassionate approach to student needsResponsibilities:Deliver individualized and small group instruction aligned with student IEPsProvide push-in services within general education English classes, supporting inclusive practicesCreate and modify lesson plans to address each student's unique learning goalsCollaborate closely with classroom teachers, therapists, and familiesMonitor student progress and maintain accurate documentationParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective educational plansMaintain a supportive and nurturing classroom environmentThis full-time role is set to begin August 2026 and extend through June 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week across five days.
