Doctor of Medicine | Hematology and Oncology Location: Waterloo, IA Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Waterloo, Iowa, 50702!We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist for a locum tenens opportunity with our client in Iowa, starting Jun 1, 2026. This assignment involves providing essential patient care, including consultations, follow-up care, and overseeing the administration of antineoplastics in the clinic, with schedule details to be determined.Responsibilities and DutiesProvide expert consultations and comprehensive follow-up care.Oversee the administration of antineoplastics within the clinic setting.Manage a clinic provider daily volume of 16-20 patients.Maintain an average daily hospital practice census of 0-2 patients.Adjust appointment lengths, typically 15-20 minutes for follow-up and 60 minutes for consults.Deliver services including antineoplastics, phlebotomies, IV IgG, iron therapy, and bone marrow biopsies.Additional InformationBoard certification in Hematology is required.The clinic utilizes the Epic EMR system.BenefitsStrong compensationTravel-related expenses coveredA-rated medical malpractice insurance providedDedicated recruiter for future travel opportunitiesWhat are Locum Tenens Jobs?Locum tenens jobs, sometimes referred to as travel assignments, are contract positions that help meet patient care needs at various healthcare facilities and hospitals for a defined period.
